The men's care, which includes the male reproductive system, is a gland that surrounds the bladder and urethra. It is about the size of a walnut and grows throughout a man's life. As you age, it's important to maintain your personal care.

There's no definitive evidence that good nutrition can prevent men's problems, but eating a healthy balanced meals may reduce your risk. Building a meal and snack around veggies and fruit is a smart idea for better life in general. Here are six foods you can eat to boost your lifestyle.

Eat properly

The number one men's protecting family of vegetables is called cruciferous, which includes such members as cabbage, Brussels sprouts, kale, broccoli, and cauliflower. A five-year study evaluated over 1200 men and found that those eating three or more servings of cruciferous vegetables per week cut their risk of men's problems almost in half compared with 602 men eating less than once serving per week. It was also discovered that those who simply consumed more vegetables were 35% less likely to develop men's problems as compared to those consuming fewer than 14 servings per week.

Flaxseed meal is another powerful men's protective food. These buttery seeds provide many nutrients, but the lignans are most notable.

Tomatoes. Lycopene, the carotenoid that makes this fruit red, concentrates in the men's care. When researchers surveyed nearly 48,000 men about their food and assessed their risk, they found those who ate 10 or more servings (one-half cup) of tomato-based foods each week had a 35% lower risk of developing men's problems than those who ate only 1.5 servings.

Herbs for better support

Is a walnut-shaped gland that wraps around. It's part of a man's reproductive system. Although it starts out small, it tends to enlarge as a man ages. An enlargement can clamp down on the urethra, restricting the flow of from the bladder. This leads to problems such as frequent bathroom breaks, difficulty in voiding, leakage, and infections. There are natural remedies that work to combat the growth.

Saw palmetto. Saw palmetto is an herbal remedy that comes from a type of palm tree. It's been used for centuries to relieve men's problems. A few small-scale studies have suggested that saw palmetto might be effective for relieving BPH symptoms.

Pygeum. Pygeum comes from the bark of the African plum tree and has been used for problems since ancient times. It helps reduce the number of trips to the bathroom — both during the day and at night. Pygeum is safe, but it can cause stomach upset in some people who take it.

Rye Grass Pollen Extract. Rye grass pollen extracts are made from three types of grass pollen — rye, timothy, and corn. Men who were taking rye grass pollen extracts reported an improvement in their symptoms. This herb seems to be especially helpful for preventing the need to get up during the night and use the bathroom. It can also help men go to the bathroom more completely.

Be active

In addition to eating a healthy meals, you should stay active. Regular exercise pares down your risk of developing some problems. And although relatively few studies have directly assessed the impact of exercise on men's care, those that have been done have concluded, for the most part, that exercise is beneficial. For example:

Based on questionnaires completed by more than 30,000 men, researchers found an inverse relationship between physical activity and men's problems. Simply put, men who were more physically active were less likely to suffer from problems. Even low- to moderate-intensity physical activity, such as walking regularly at a moderate pace, yielded benefits.

Italian researchers randomly assigned 231 sedentary men with problems to one of two exercise programs for 18 weeks: aerobic exercise, which included brisk walking, or nonaerobic exercise, which included leg lifts, sit-ups, and stretching. Each group exercised three times a week.

Change your lifestyle

We can only sustain physical health and emotional health when self-care is a priority. (This is true for both women and men, despite some old-fashioned gender stereotypes!) When your needs are met, and self-care is a non-negotiable priority, you can come to the world as the best version of yourself; fully nourished and ready to nourish those around you.

In fact, giving yourself permission to take care of yourself is probably the best thing you can do for the people in your life. Not only will you be happier and healthier, but those around you will be, too.

Make sleep a priority. For a myriad of reasons, our society is becoming increasingly sleep-deprived. Sleep is significant in our body's ability to be well. While sleeping, we repair damaged tissues and organs, we metabolize hormones our body no longer needs, and our brains use this time to organize our thoughts and experiences, and to make permanent neurological links (memories) for the learning we experienced that day.
